BERLIN (AP) — American winger Kevin Paredes scored his first Bundesliga goal of the season for Wolfsburg but couldn’t prevent Werder Bremen fighting back to draw 2-2 on Sunday. The 20-year-old Paredes scored from close range to put Wolfsburg 2-1 ahead in the 59th minute after some good work from his teammates. Joakim Mæhle pulled the ball back and Lovro Majer set up Paredes with his heel, perhaps inadvertently. But Mitchell Weiser crossed for Rafael Santos Borré to equalize with a header six minutes later.Bremen’s Marvin Ducksch had fired the visitors into a seventh-minute lead with a free kick that went over the wall of defenders and in off the top of the right post.Wolfsburg found it difficult to break through Bremen’s compact defense until Václav Černý equalized in the 37th. The Czech winger was fortunate to see his shot go through the legs of a defender and the Bremen ’keeper.Paredes rewarded Wolfsburg’s pressure only for Borré to respond.Wolfsburg defender Maxence Lacroix was sen...Patriots seemingly bench cornerback Jack Jones in first quarter vs. Commanders

FORT MYERS, Fla. (WFLA) — Skulls are common decorations in stores during Halloween, but usually they're made in a factory.A thrift store in Fort Myers, Florida, learned it was selling an unusual item when one of its shoppers noticed that one of the skulls in the Halloween section was actually real, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office. Man’s body mistaken for Halloween prop; lawn mowed around him The shopper, an anthropologist of all things, recognized the skull was, in fact, human, prompting detectives to come and pick it up. But after the forwards on the Gophers men’s basketball team went through consecutive serious knee injuries, which robbed both of them of the past two seasons, especially at the knee. The teammates and roommates bonded as they went side-by-side through the process, not once but twice. In 2021, Fox needed surgery on the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee as he transferred to the U that spring from Division II Northern State, while Ihnen needed ACL surgery in the summer going into his third season at Minnesota. In 2022, Fox tore the ACL in his right knee in June, and Ihnen re-injured the ACL in his left knee a few weeks later.“It was ridiculous, honestly, to have these types of injuries back-to-back,” Ihnen said. “You would not wish that on anyone, but at the same time, it was a blessing to have (Fox) there with me. The worst part is Jaren Hall was kind of cooking. After struggling to find a rhythm on his first drive, the rookie quarterback had the Vikings in position to score a touchdown on his second drive. He completed a quick pass to tight end Johnny Mundt for a gain of 18 yards, then a deep pass to running back Alexander Mattison for a gain of 47 yards. That put the Vikings in the low red zone where Hall tried to scramble for a touchdown. He got hit hard near the goal line, slammed the back of his head into the turf, and had to be helped off the field. After briefly getting checked out in the medical tent, Hall was quickly ruled out with a concussion. He finished the game 5 for 6 for 78 yards through the air to go along with 11 yards on the ground. In place of Hall, the Vikings turned to Josh Dobbs, the journey quarterback they acquired at the trade deadline this past week.Related ArticlesMinnesota Vikings | Vikings left tackle Christian Darrisaw ruled out for game against Falcons ...Business People: 3M names finance executive for its Health Care group
